On October 10, 2021 at 800am, City of Portland, Mayor John Boggs, Portland Police Department Code Enforcement, Jay County Chamber of Commerce, Asbury United Methodist Church, and other volunteering members of our community are coming together to assist people in need. The goal of this day is to help elderly, disabled, and struggling families clean-up junk and rubbish on their properties as well as cutting grass and weeds. We as a community strive to ensure that we live in a safe and beautiful town that is appealing to everyone. We have identified a few households that need our assistance. If anyone is needing help with their properties or if you know of someone that is in need of help, you are encouraged to reach out to the Portland Police Department. Please leave the Name, Address, and phone number below so contact can be made with them to add them to our list. Also you may call the Police Department and provide the information to the dispatch.
