IMPORTANT NOTICE: Phishing Emails Sent from Clerk-Treasurer's Account

The City of Portland has learned that the email account @ was accessed without authorization on or around 8/5/2026 and that phishing emails were sent from that account to individuals in its contact list.

If you received a suspicious email from this address:

• Do not click any links or open any attachments.
• Do not reply or provide any personal, banking, or login information.
• Delete the message. 

If you have already clicked a link or entered information, change the affected password immediately and contact your bank if financial details were shared.

A Malware Virus Scan should also be ran on your system as a precaution
