The City Clerk-Treasurer's office is located at the City Hall at 321 N. Meridian Street. The hours the office is open are 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Clerk-Treasurer Randy Geesaman and his staff are available to answer any questions you may have.
The City Clerk-Treasurer is the finance officer of the City. As finance officer, he maintains the accounting records of the City, audits and certifies the expenditures of the City funds by appropriation, is custodian of all public funds, prepares the City budget and annual financial report, and prepares such finance reports as are required.
As Clerk of the City, he maintains the records of the Board of Public Works & Safety and Common Council, including the minutes, contract files, ordinances and resolutions and the City Code Ordinances and resolutions that require Common Council approval.
The Clerk-Treasurer's Office also handles the following services:
- City Water and Sewage bill payments
- Request for water and sewage service to be turned on and off
- Water and sewage billing inquiries
- Water and sewage tap in fees
